Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
We’re feeling pretty super, how about you? The big game is fast approaching, and while we love football, we love an excuse to invite people over and cook even more! You too can cook like a champion with recipes from Dr. BBQ’s NFL Gameday Cookbook: Grilled Tuna Sandwiches from Seattle and Baked Brie from New England. Who’s going to win? You’ll have to cook both to find out.

Looking to add another cooking surface to my medium. Looking to have two cooking surfaces (obviously one on top of the other). What is the consensus on the best way to accomplish this? TIA!

  • fournier88,
I just bought a grill extender - Works great. I also have a smaller cooking grid ( I forget what size) that fits below my regular cooking grid and wedges right above the fire box, so technically I have 3 surfaces. The lower grid came off of an old charcoal grill I had lying around.
