Smash burgers were awesome last night!!  Then woke up at 0300 to put the 15 lbs of Boston Butt on the BGE.  Finally at 0410 they on the BGE!  Going on 10 hours and I finally broke thru the stall.  Just powered thru it!!  Will have pictures of the Boston Butts later.

    Pork looks great!

And smashburgers are legit! I'm a convert.  I used to buy the overpriced Bubba Burgers (because they were easy and tasted fine) but now I just get loose chopped meat and that's it.  Much cheaper!

Once I started making smashburgers for the kids, they won't have them any other way.   Have to admit, I make them inside though. I have a gas stove and a nice cast iron griddle that spreads between too burners.  It's just much easier and I don't think the egg adds anything to such a short cook.  Only benefit would be keeping the smell out of the house, but we only cook 4 ( 2 at a time) and the fan seems to handle it.

@bradleya123 you are killing it! You are making this fellow Duke fan proud, but a bit envious :)
