grapeseed oil use question

I just saw another reference to using grapeseed oil - so not knowing jack about it I Googled it. Other than learning it has a high smoke point and gives a nutty taste what have I missed these last 62 years that I've never had any of it? Any hints or recommendations for its use would be appreciated!

I've never used it for cooking. It was recommemded to me for seasoning cast iron.[p]Mike

I use it in place of olive oil sometimes especially for sauteeing onions and such.

RRP,[p]I love the stuff, I soak my large chopped veggies in it. and put it in a pan on the grill for a while untill it bubbles, It's pretty light tasting and combines great with veggies for a steak sandwich.

Thanks...today I bought a 16.9 oz can of La Tourangelle brand which happened to be the only brand available so that made my selection process easier! Anxious to try it sometime.
