Happy Birthday to me with a large Big Green Egg

why did i wait so long.... I bought a BGE for my birthday (this way i get what I want) 3 weeks ago and have made some of the most incredibly delicious food. I did a couple test runs at 300 to seat the gasket and my first cook was a couple NY strips @ 650. Next a pork butt (10 hour smoke), then pork chops. OMG i am having so much fun searching recipes and cooking up serious eats. Tonight will be bacon wrapped jalapenos w/ shrimp, then roast corn on the cob (honey butter & cayenne) then crank it up to 650 for a sirloin...
