    I have my CL alerts set just for @Jeremiah 's quest for a BGE Chiminea.  ;)  Only alerts I've gotten recently in NC, SC and GA have been cast iron chimineas.  Lol. We will getcha one soon enough, brother. :rock_on:

    I think they discontinued them because they had issues. Even new BGE only warranties them for 5 years.

    I'm fairly certain it was early 2010. Of course those were slow selling items so probably most dealers did not carry them and/or if they took a chance they were left on show room floors for quite some time. Honestly, I don't blame BGE for weeding out that niche market product.

    TRUST me - I did too and I showed up 3 months too late when my dealer sold his for his cost just to get it out of his back room storage!

    I know a dealer that has a new chiminea in stock. They told me they would sell it to me for $399, but that was too much for me. If someone is interested, I can find their phone number and you can see if you can work out a price and shipping. I will let you know it's not anywhere near the Carolinas.

    Where is this secret place you speak of? Jeremiah has a truck and camper. Gas is cheap too!
