Bourbon and steak was dinner last night.
Started off with a 25oz porterhouse.
Seasoned it with kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper.
Smoked it.
Seared it.
Ate it.
It was delicious.

That's a great looking steak.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Beautiful. I have been waiting for a good while now for the Porterhouse's to go on sale at SRF (RR). I bought several last time (9 months ago or so) and they were absolutely delicious. Beautiful presentation as usual Craig. I know those were good.Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax

Nice plating! Reminds me of Peter Luger's...except I'm sure it taste better than the bland over buttered steak I was served there.Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ....
