OT-Isle of Palms SC-Charleston-Good Microbrewies?

We are leaving Saturday for a family vacation, renting a house in Isle of Palms. Mr Evie loves Microbrewies and Hard Cider. Anyone know some can't miss spots in Charleston or close environs for us to visit? We will also be visiting Fort Sumter and the USS Yorktown along with any other historical sites us geeks want to see.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions/tips!

Westbrook Brewing is great. The white Thai is nice and refreshing for a day on the beach. The also do some bottling for Evil Twin which is excellent.
Make sure you swing by Sullivan's Island to see Ft Moultrie. Also head out 17 to see the Sweetgrass basket stands. Cruise across the Ravenel bridge and check out south of Broad. Beautiful antebellum homes overlooking the harbor. -

A friend of mine recently opened a restaurant in Charleston named Little Jack's Tavern. He is getting rave reviews but I haven't been there yet. http://littlejackstavern.com/
The Yorktown tour is awesome!
I also recommend Sticky Fingers in Charleston for Ribs. Great food and large beer list. One large BGE in Louisville, KY. -
Awesome Guys! We have a lot to go to now! Thanks also for all the recommendations on tours/visits. We will definitely check all that out.

Page's Okra Grill in Mt Pleasant is fantastic as well. Great southern food and they do live music outside on certain nights. Great family place, low-key, and makes you feel right at home.
