@kl8ton yes, I know about Free Beer and Hot Wings. I liked to listen to their trivia segment when taking my kids to school, but the radio station they're on around here now has a weak signal and they come in with static, so I don't listen as much anymore.
I agree about a "Forum Code"... In THIS case, I feel that the particular Brisket God was Lt. Col. Nathan Jessup, from "A Few Good Men" -
Stoogie - "Did you order the Code Red on my brisket?"
Jessup - "You're g*dd@mn right I ordered the Code Red!"

son, we live in a country surrounded by walls, those walls need to be protected by men with guns...whos gonna do it? You? You Lieutenant Weinberg? ....
i have neither the time nor the inclination to answer to someone who rises and sleeps under the very blanket of security i provide and then questions the manner in which i provide it. I would rather you say thank you and be on your way. Otherwise i suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way i dont give a damn what you think you are entitled to....

WOW! So awesome! I've never been able to pull the trigger on an SRF order. I've had many different items in my cart so many times too. Now I'm going to NEED to do it!

Congrats @minniemoh, thanks @SRFShane for adding something special to a fun cook. And last but not least @westernbbq for coming up with the idea.
I'm still snacking on the leftovers, not much left though. Was the best brisket I ever cooked out of only 5. Can't wait to do another one.LBGE - I like the hot stuff. The big dry San Joaquin Valley, Clovis, CA -

Hooray for @minniemoh! Many thanks to @westernbbq for putting forth the idea for the cook and to @SRFShane for providing that last touch of inspiration to finally get me to attempt a brisket. Not only was it my first brisket cook, it was my first brisket eat. I had no idea what I was shooting for other than what have I observed and read on this forum. I truly enjoyed the process and challenge. Despite making several errors, I am looking forward to the next one!
