Stopped by the mothership today

I was just up the road from the mothership today and decided to stop and browse for a minute. They had a table of items that were 50% of the marked price. Picked up 3 nice hand towels for $1 each.

Those a nice, may have to pick some of those up myself, if I can find them.  Hard to believe only $2 regular price, that's a deal event at regular price.

They also had some of the vertical chicken and turkey roaster that were steel as well. Almost got one of them, but wasn't sure how much I'd use it. I knew I'd get more use out of the towels than anything they had.

I think spatchcocking made the vertical holders useless. I have a couple of them that I have not used in years.
Agree. I think I did two beer can chickens with mine.

I would rather drink my beer watching the Buckeyes kick Fichigans ass.

They still had the golf towels, the turkey and chicken racks, some expanding baskets with detachable handles, candles, some oven mitt style gloves, and some rubs on the table this afternoon.

Got it done towels and rubs for something new to try....

man-oh-man I love those small towels! Never seen them before and probably never will at least at that price!

Amongst my inexpensive collection of "prized" BGE items are a small oval "platter" with an old style logo. A S & P shaker used daily. A deck of BGE playing cards and BGE roasting ear corncob holders - neither ever used. Funny thing about the cards and holders is they were sanctioned in the USA, made in China, purchased in Holland and then gifted to me back in the USA!

call us whatever you want, but yes there is a following here - call it proud to be connected/affiliated or whatever. Is it really much different than any other product marketing gimmick?

    LOL - touche'

Then in your opinion I'm a fool for spending money on my purchases promoting BGE products and some other products I love and their marketing gimmicks as well promoting those material products. BUT here is the kicker...it was MY money - not YOUR money! so does that make it OK now?

My comment was really more tongue in cheek than anything. I'm eyeing up the salt and pepper shakers and the patio light string.  =)

The chair was nice.  Well padded with a small "cooler" built into the left arm.  Might hold 3 longnecks.

Not for me.  I'll keepo my zero-gravity chair from Cabellas or my hammock.

Looks like they added a couple of items to the clearance table 50%. including some table cloth weights that would make good Christmas ornaments!

Thanks for the very kind offer, I just wanted a few hand-towels but it is more effort than a couple of $1 hand-towels are worth :lol
