Advise on selling my Egg's with cedar table.

I'm going to sell my BGE's. They come with a Cedar table which houses both of them. They come with tools and both have place setters.
I'm wondering what would be a fair price on these items? They are about 10 years old but in great shape.

    Nice set up.
I would check Craigslist.com in your area to get an idea of the market.
Opinions vary on buying used Eggs on this forum but most agree that somewhere close to 50% of new for a used Egg.
Many people buying off Craigs have no idea about future warranty issues not being covered on a used Egg, nor how expensive replacement ceramic parts can be.
    Thank you,

I just posted an add on CraigsList. Asking $1200.00
They come with Platesetter for each Egg. Extended grid for large and an adjustable extender for small that I paid $80.00 for.

If I kept them I would refinish the table. Legs don't need any work but the top and sides need a little.

So far I've had 4 or 5 people contact me. Nobody is hurrying up over here with the cash yet. I may have it priced a little to high but I'm not sure yet. Going to stay at this price for a couple weeks and then lower it a little. Or I may separate them. I had a couple people ask me to do that.

In phoenix, that would be low by a lot.  Last week an extra large was up for $2000.  This week there is a large for $1075.  There is currently a small listed for $475, and by local standards, that's a screaming deal.  It's ridiculous.

    Best of luck.

Hi Golfnut, I may be interested in those what size are they & do you have any interior pics? Just to see any hairlines. Thanks in advance.

Large and small. The Large has a nearly new firebox. I cant see any cracks although the smalls firebox may be cracked, although cracked fireboxes have no effect on the performance of the Egg. I have never refinished the table and imho needs it. I can take some interior pics today.

    New info.
Wife just informed me that the ages of the Egg's differ from my first post.
Large is 9 years old. Small is 6 years old. We are the original owners.
Also included 2 ash scrapers one for large and one for small.
2 platesetters 1 for each Egg.
    1 grid lifter.
    1 extended grid for large.
1 dual level grid extender aftermarket grid that I paid $80.00 for. Fit's small Egg.
Upgraded Tru-Tel thermometer for small Egg.
Solid cedar table. Could use a refinish job but does not have to be done.

I just completely dissembled both Eggs looking for cracks. I can see no cracks in either of the Eggs upper or lower halves. There is however a few minor flaws in both of them.
    1) Large:
    a. Top snuffer cap fell and broke in half, I glued the two halves together and it works perfect.
    b. Fire grate is cracked but still in one piece (see picture).
    2) Small:
    a. Fire box is cracked (see picture).

Since you're the original owner, you can/should get a free warranty replacement for the cracked small fire box to make it more enticing.

Many years ago I crossed border and bought my Small BGE at Elite Pool and Spas in Freeland, MI. Nice folks!

    Good luck with the sale!

I have to admit. If you are relocating and can't take it or the new condo doesn't accept them otherwise, what are you cooking on.
