Smoking Eggplant

Options
Anyone ever smoke an eggplant?  If so, how did you do it?  
How long?
Kind of wood?
Do you cut it in half?

And yes, not the most manly post on the forum... I may have to smoke a whole alligator next to get my man card back.

    Poke several holes in skin. Split in half long way, little evoo on surface.  275-325 indirect 20 minutes.  Remove and cool.  make baba ghanoush (sp)  or slice  3/4-1" thick, evoo indirect turning after 10 minutes.  EGGjoy!
