My favorite of all time. So much so, this little fellow is named after him. None will ever top Merle for me. True Americana. He perfected the Bakersfield sound and wrote about the foundation of the human spirit. I'll miss him but his music lives on and will for perpetuity. _________________________________________________________________________________________
