OT - Ms Stone is trying to collect on my life insurance

The day started grumpy for me.  I had a barrage of routine tests with my cardiologist, making sure that my funky electrical gremlins are under control.  The worst part is the 24 hours without caffeine, along with fasting in the morning.

When I got home, I was greeted with this (sorry about the rotation issue):

A fresh pour over matched with beef cheek barbacoa and poached eggs.

She had to thaw the barbacoa, so naturally she simmered the frozen block of wonderfulness in a bit of home made pork stock (from the dirty hippie farm).  Not wanting to waste the stock after the reheating, she made a gravy out of it (with the barbacoa juices), and poured it back on the barbacoa, topped with two poached eggs.

I may want to back down on my life insurance.

Sadly, none of the tools installed on my work computer allow me to rotate and save in such a way as to not involve the neck craning issue you so vividly illustrated above.  I miss my iPad

co-workers wondering why my head is under the monitor.  I tried to explain that the beef cheek is about to fall out of the bowl.

just sprinkle a little Lipitor on top, you'll be fine.

dude...wow. You might want to put a gravy clause in there stating that all money goes to the Centex Foundation for a Better Tomorrow if you die of hardened arteries.

If you hear her asking "Did you remember to pay the Life Insurance this month?", you might want to keep both eyes open.

She's on to me, and now I'm screwed.  She came back with:

You have sealed your fate. It's all oats, yogurt, tofu, kale, apples, and water for you.

    The True Love Diet

She did say I could cold smoke it, though.... so there's that

She didn't feed you that and then take you into the bedroom for a romp did she?  That would be proof that she's up to no good.
