Smoked Chicken Salad and Venison Cheeseburgers

Been meaning to try @tarheelmatt 's smoked chicken salad since he posted it a couple weeks back. Gave it a go last night.
Also gave Caribeque Lemon Garlic a go for the first time last night. It was fantastic. A lot of the time, for me anyway, by the time you smoke the bird, the flavor of the rub is overpowered by the smoke. This one held onto the flavor perfectly. Two big thumbs up!
Skin removed and thrown back on to crisp up:
Chicken salad for the work week:
Also made cheeseburgers for dinner:

You rocked it my fiend and neighbor. I have never cooked a whole bird for Chix Salad. I am a white me guy for the salad, but prefer the dark for out right eating. Looking good man! Was the skin a cooks treat?Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Thx guys! @jad, those were just frozen sweet potato fries. @SmokeyPitt , the skin was chopped and placed into the chicken salad. Good stuff.

Nice I love me some smoke chicken salad. Have been experimenting with several kinds for a few years. I think my favorite is smoke curry chicken salad. I have never continued cooking the skin like that and added it, so thanks for that tip. Looks fantastic. I have also not done a vertical chicken in prolly 5 years.
