Merry Christmas, y'all! Hope everyone had a great holiday, I know I did. Going to the Panthers vs. Falcons game (don't expect much from the birds) tomorrow and wanted to provide the food for the tailgate. Picked up a 6 1/2 lb butt and threw it on about 9:45 this morning with a layer of mustard and some Dizzy Dust. Was hoping to go 250 but temp hovered around 295 the entire cook. Luckily, thanks to you guys, I knew that wouldn't be an issue. Just pulled it and it's juicy as ever! Thank you all for the valuable information you've posted on here as it kept me confident throughout the cook. Can't wait to make some sammies tomorrow. Plan to throw it in the crock pot with a 1/2 can of coke to reheat and rehydrate in the morning.

While I pull for both teams, I have to say the Falcons earned this one. Looks to me like you doubled down on a good day all way around.Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax
