What is the quickest way to light charcoal in the BGE?

The quickest way to get it going would be to use a mapp torch or weed burner. 35-40 seconds should be plenty.
Quickest from a "time you need to stand there next to it" standpoint would be to use a firestarter cube. Light the cube, come back in ten miuntes and you'll have a fire going.

I use 1) electric starter 2) MAAP torch 3) starter cubes and 4) charcoal chimney. I find them all equally effective and almost equally quick. Each of these gets me a lit fire within 10 minutes. I keep going back to the electric starter because it is simple and doesn't require any renewable supplies.

I always used the cubes. I was going to get a MAPP tourch, but I started using the chiminy to see what it was like. I've been using it for a few months now and I have no reason yo go with a tourch.
