mold on BGE
Has anyone ever had a problem with mold on the inside of a BGE? I hadn't used mine in a few months because of weather issues and when I opened it there was mold on the inside. I just ran it at high temps for 30 minutes and it seemed ok. Any suggestions on how to prevent this other than using it frequently?

oldmanriver,
Yes,
I have and so have others, ya did the right thing, 500 or higher for whatever period of time it takes to burn it clean. Just remember to burp the egg afterwars before openig it. "Flashback"[p]

oldmanriver,
You can also keep a 60 watt lightbulb burning in your egg....works great in humid Florida.[p]Chrispy Bob

oldmanriver,
A couple of weeks back some one mentioned that they moved their BGE so that it got some sun every day and that seemed to cure the mold problem. HTH
