well, here we go. Trying something a bit different. We'll see gonna cook em in a braiser with the lid off. Then add veg and shrooms later. Drain fat and try to make a red wine gravy maybe. Red eye and cow lick for rubs and oak pellets for smoke.

Went to the store for a few hours and put together an XL. Came back and decided to add the veg and lid. Doesn't really all fit but we'll see. Should render down and hopefully I can get a gravey when done. Here's the update photos.

Done! Got a little rushed by the hungry mob. I was going to add the shrooms back to the gravy, but prolly better I didn't. Well, I basically made pot roast on the bone with mashed taters gravy and veg. It was a winner. Thumbs up from the youngest. She just kept taking some mashed taters so she could use more gravy.
