Finally got one. For 12 years I have wanted a Green Egg. 3 years ago we built a house and the deal was I would do as much as possible to save cost and I could get an egg. Of course ran out of money so egg was not an option. 3 years later wife wants a pool. I got the egg up front this time. Loving it. Of course ran into a learning curve but now have a pretty good idea of temp control. Best meal so far was a seared tuna steak. Been lurking for years. Now checking every night. Thanks

Funny you mentioned that. Back in the early 70's my Dad had one. He was always struggling with temp control and drinking beer the whole time. All I remember was hearing Harry Chapin up pretty loud and eating really late. First night I got mine I sent the wife out and prepared to break her in with a piece of Salmon. I'll second Roswell Hardware as a great place. I love south of Atlanta down in Henry Co and work at hospital hill at Northside/St. Joes/Children's.... I'll make the 15 minute drive to RH to get any warranty work done same day and to get toys! They have the Adjustible Rig in stock and tons of Thermoworks
