Does anyone have advice for a small stand to use my SBGE when camping? The table stand says not for use as a stand by itself. Does the egg need one if used on a wooden table?

I have seen others without a nest, but I would be afraid of tip over. On a flat surface you can use "ceramic feet." Either the BGE version or you can get some at lowes in the pottery section. You need 3. I have also used a 12x12 concrete paver I paid about $2 for at Lowes. Either works great.XL,L,SWinston-Salem, NC

I gather you are asking if you just take the egg naked to a site and set it on a picnic table or something? Yes? No? Stand alone? If so, be real careful when opening and letting go of the handle in the open position.

@pgprescott trying to save space for taking the egg on RV camping trips, but if a nest is best I can accommodate. Sounds like you would suggest the nest to avoid tipping vs standing on a flat surface.

Why not just get a nest ? Look on Craigslist, people practically give them away on there
