Hi everyone! This site has given me numerous tips and advice the last couple weeks as i have began my BGE journey. I have done patty melts, spatchcock chicken (my new favorite word), heck of a lot of wings, and today Egret's chili. The chili was awesome! I substituted ground chuck for a deer/pork mixture and threw in some Redfish Magic. I love cooking on the egg, and i look forward to reading many more great ideas on this forum.

how many Egrets do you have to use to make a good pot of chile?
Have you tried Nutria or coot in place of egret? -
I have had Nutria in gumbo before, ate it up just like any other. Side note, when I was younger we got bored duck hunting and killed quite a few Egrets as my friend's dad said they were good eating. Brought them back to the house boat and he about fainted when he saw them!
