Watching Russell Wilson work his a$$ off. I'd feel bad for him, but he's getting PAID!

@Legume ... being from Texas, I'm not sure you'll understand. Kind of like if a Southerner tried to explain to me why they like grits.
But, here goes. Trenary toast is a UP (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) tradition. The bakery takes really good bread and toasts it, butters it, and coats it with a sugar-cinnamon combination. At home, we coat it with peanut butter and dip it in coffee or tea. It's ... well ... ah ... oh hell, it's damn good.
When ever we visit the UP a load of toast comes back with us.

Thanks @Jeepster47, I think I got it, so it ends up being a really light, slightly sweet pastry almost. Sounds good, just funny to see a bag of toast since I've never seen toast in a store, let alone a bag. And don't expect me to explain grits, I like them, but have only had them a dozen times maybe.

I personally love it. Funny thing is the date stamp "June 2016". Nothing like bread in a porous brown bag that is 6 months old
Btw, I absolutely love grits too. They are one of my very favorites.A bison’s level of aggressiveness, both physical and passive, is legendary. - NPS -

@Jeepster47 ozzie is his own man, man. We evolve. I dropped the "I've decided I'm not going to pretend to believe in regional magic" bomb when I was 14. Just got confirmed minutes before. My point is don't be afraid to swim against the current if it feels fishy.
Anyway, we loved his company in nola. You raised a smart, independent kid that doesn't take anything at face value. You should be proud.______________________________________________I love lamp.. -
