Well after years of lightly checking out the BGEs, I finally pulled the trigger and picked up an XL a couple weeks ago. It joins a La Caja China, a classic Oklahoma Joe's offset smoker, a vertical smoker box, a Kenmore 6 burner propane grill and a good ol' Weber. Having a great time getting it dialed in and have done some chicken, smoker some beef short ribs, a couple of pork butts and looking at pizza stones now so we can start doing some pies!
Got great service from Smitty at Eggs by the Bay in Nor Cal...he helped seal the deal. Love all the great info shared in the forums as well!

Great looking ribs and welcome aboard. Sounds like you got quite the arsenal. Don't be too quick to dump any of them. The Egg is great at some things, but not all and sometimes its just fun to cook on other things. I've always wanted to cook on a Caja.
