APL T-Bone and Veggies

Options

Started out with a T-Bone that weighed in at 1.877lbs that I salted 2 1/2hrs before eggin

Then a little switch in the normal eggin activities, instead of lump I used briquettes in the mini(thanks @sgh) . Got stabilized at 500° direct and on goes the meat    After this briquette trial run I think the mini will only see briquettes from now on.

I flipped every 3 mins or so and baisted with a butter and pepper flake reduction and a herb mop

Meanwhile the squash ans zukes were getting happy on the small

And plated up with some spinach and board sauce made of EVOO,lemon zest and herbs from the mop

One of the best steaks I've made. It was cooked a lil more than necessary but I'm still trying to get my wife to the low side of medium. It's a coming!!

@sgh - thank you and a double thanks for the briquette suggestion you posted a few days ago. It seems like a much more even fire in the mini.

It doesn't seem it my friend, it is. You can really tell the difference on the larger eggs. For grilling, they are all that I use now. Glad that you liked them too.
