Cow lick or 50/50 salt and pepper.

Cow Lick is awesome on brisket. I have not tried the others.

montreal, big rub chunks for the dense meat. shake some Worcestershire sauce on the brisket first.

From that line-up I'd go with the Montreal steak seasoning. Or you could keep it simple and just use salt and pepper with a little garlic salt.
I'm not a fan of using chicken and pork seasoning on beef"I'm stupidest when I try to be funny"

I use 1/2 kosher salt and 1/2 16 mesh pepper. If you need a good pepper connection get ahold of this guy. Insanely fresh and not expensive at all. He'll grind it to any size you want.

I've only smoked one brisket with S&P and garlic. If I do another one, I'd use DP Cow Lick or BGE Cosmic Cow. BGE seasoning is made by DP so I'm assuming Cosmic Cow is similar to Cow Lick. It's one of my favorite beef rubs.Steven

Thanks everyone. Great tips.

On brisket I prefer salt & pepper. Evenly coat the brisket and it turns out great.
