I loved watching the Dizzy Team cooking up all that shaved steak in the cast iron skillet. I have a small one that would fit perfectly on my small if it weren't for the handle. How do ya get the darn thing off-- saw it? with what? do I just take it somewhere?

Haggis,
A hacksaw is the tool you want. You'll also want a file to round off any sharp edges.[p]Ken

Hey Sue,[p]Just take it to any place that works with metal and they can knock that off for you pretty quickly and cheaply.

WooDoggies, Thanks for the pics. I was over there when they were cooking the steak, but I didn't see the rest of the prep. Someone brought one over for me and you are right, they were the greatest!! Sue

Saucy Sue, Use hack saw. It is a lot easier than you would think. Takes less than 3 minutes. I use small cast iron skillet (no handle) all the time for beans, chicken parts over dressing, roasted garlic potatoes etc. you can place on top of fire brick which will prevent bottom burning. Also fits onto bottom chubby ring if you want to use as baffle/and or drip pan.
