I prefer not to do an overnight cook. I have 15lbs. of butts. Anyone have a rough idea on long it will take to cook these?[p]I have never seen a 5 yr old go after a slab of ribs like that in my life. Thank the Lord for grandkids.[p]Having a wet weekend, AGAIN.[p]Mike

2 hours a pound at 250 or so.
if you have two 8 pounders it's about 16 hours.

wet there huh? Well it's been dry here and I've finally popped for a full blown yard irrigation system. Now watch us have the wettest summer on record! LOL

thanks but the ink on the contract is already dry and besides that "the first born" we had to give up says he kinda likes his new family! LOL

I just finished up 15 lbs of pork shoulder.
I was using a GURU and it held at 225 for 22 hours.(had to add more lump at 18 hours)
It was a very low and slow cook.
I think there is an 8 hour cook floating out there somewhere for pork shoulder.[p]Cheers
