I'm looking through Amazon for high heat BBQ gloves. There are A LOT, and the ratings are all over the place. Any consensus on a good pair?

I got a pair of these Zetax gloves for Christmas a few years ago. Still going strong and have had no problem picking up a hot placesetter. A little pricey but work well.http://www.mdsassociates.com/documents/NXP_Glove_Brochure.pdf~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I got these from I don't know where, but locally not online. They say Dexas on them. I can hold a hot plate setter for about 30 seconds with them.

I tried and returned a bunch from Amazon. Those silicone ones that come in different colors from various sellers are terrible - they have no flexibility and it's hard to get a grip with them as they are slippery. Best I found are the ones that say Grill Heat Aid on them (links in the thread linked above). They are only good for a few seconds so as mentioned, know where you are going before you pick up the hot item. Two Large Eggs, 6 gal Cajun Fryer, and a MiniMax in Charlotte, NC - My New Table

I bought a pair of these when I first bought my XL and to this day I believe they're the best value for $ accessory I've ever bought. I use them on EVERY cook. Tonight I put them on and used my hands to spread around the lit coals to help get my egg up to high temp faster!
Worth a look:

I got these and they are great. Not as long cuffed as those steiners but they are lined and work well. Don't break the bank either.

I'm on my second pair of $11 Home Depot welding gloves, or was it Lowes? Anyway, why the second pair? The first started to smell like BBQ and my dog decided to take them apart looking for the BBQ. Second pair is stored in a bin now. Good enough to take a hot PS out of the egg and set it down within 10 seconds, I wouldn't hold much longer but 10 sec is pretty long. Btw, your hands don't burn until after you put it down, you have to take the gloves off as soon as you put it down. Im sure there are better gloves, but these work well for $11.
