I just came across this. Thought my fellow eggheads would enjoy it. I personally am a ketchup and onions kind of guy. Might have to try a few of these though.

I was going say she annoys me getting up at night, and she's lazy nevr do well, but wrong dog.
Mustard ketchup, occasional chili(not hot dog sauce) -
Carolina style....definitely Carolina.
Might I add that if you are going to try one....and you have a Chic-Fil-A nearby.....get their slaw....you can't make it any better for a slaw dog. I have a good simple homemade chili recipe also if you want to make it yourself....don't buy the caned kind from the grocery store.Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax

I would like to try them all!
I saw this posted elsewhere on teh interweb and it prompted me to research that Georgia style dog. I have never seen a dog like that (lived in GA for 41 years now!). It is a "scrambled dog" made popular by Dinglewood pharmacy in Columbus, GA.

Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -

I happened to pick up some of these on sale not long ago. They were really good and are supposedly the official hot dogs of the Braves.

If I am going to clog arteries, I am going to clog them good. A buddy of mine grilled some dogs, cheddar cheese finely shredded, yellow mustard, Vidalia onions, sweet spicy relish, and chili. They were great. I was surprised to find out the chili was Bert's from Waffle House. They were great. Clogged the arteries, but very good."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

My favorite hot dogs in the world are from Pittsfield Mass---Teo's. They are shorties, with meat chile sauce, deli mustard and onions. They have a steamed bun and are natural casing so they snap. Unreal.Columbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.

In Michigan, there are two styles. The Detroit style has a wet chili/meat sauce and the Flint style with a dry chili/meat topping (I consider a sauce to be inherently wet). Either one is good. I grew up in metro Detroit so I'll get Detroiters every time.
On a side note, you're just flat out wrong or a commie spy if you put anything on them other than mustard & onions!Flint, Michigan -

Even though the Sonoran dog looks like a tumor that is my favorite style. Used to get them a bunch in Mexico.A bison’s level of aggressiveness, both physical and passive, is legendary. - NPS -
I don't know...I've tried all kinds of hot dogs and still my favorite is one on a stick cooked over an open fire, fresh bun with a ton of mustard.

@saluki2007, ketchup should NEVER be applied to a hotdog, that is just disgusting.
I would say that the Carolina is also a VA dog, had them that way for more than 45 years.
My go-to dog as mustard, onions, chili, creamy southern style coleslaw (think chick-fil-a or KFC style coleslaw minus the carrots) - and in that order.
Another favorite just has mustard, onions and chopped tomatoes.
or
mustard, onions and homemade green-tomato relish.
or
mustard, onions, chili and cheddar cheese
(do we see a pattern here? MUSTARD, ONIONS are a must on any dog. And that list does NOT include (bleccchhhh) ketchup.) -
At home, just mustard. French's Yellow mustard. Can't find decent buns here in utard.
Commercially, only two: the Chicago style as made by Portillo's in Chicago; and the Skyliner, as made by Skyline Chili in and around Cincinnati._____________"I mean, I don't just kill guys, I'm notorious for doing in houseplants." - Maggie, Northern Exposure

Kinda surprised there's no corn dog, specifically Fletcher's Corn dog. Suddenly I'm in the mood for a hot dog. Or 3.
