Found a new recipe for an adobo marinade and it was good. Seared the chops on the CI grid on the spider and got some nice flavor. However, in searching for sides I found a great recipe for black beans and rice. They stole the show. Best I ever had.

I used canned beans instead of dry beans, just modified the recipe by adding about 3/4 of a can of water and simmering in that for 30 min or so then followed the recipe from there. -
