    Growing up in Atlanta, I knew a lot of these guys. Lived next door to some, ran into others at various stores and shops...  Roddy Piper was a good guy as a whole.

    I met Rowdy many years back. I was not into wrestling. I had absolutely zero idea who this guy was. He sat next to me on flight back to Heathrow, for him it was an emergency, for me, just business. If I recall correctly, it was his father(?, I think that was it) that was on his last days. This man was hurt, genuine and sincere. It seemed everyone on the plane stopped at his seat, either at loading, or during the flight, the stewardesses would tell him, folks in coach, wanted to speak with him, to give him their condolences. He was gracious enough to do everything he could to please the fans of wrestling, not just Rowdy.
    He was beat and tired upon arrival. Weary from anguish and exhausted from trip over the Atlantic. Yet he remained humble and gracious to the fans.
    Cool flight for me. Brutal as hell for him.
