Are you talking about jetnet? @sgh uses it and it is stretchy netting similar to what you'd see on a ham. It doesn't sound like what your looking for but just in case...

Thanks everyone for posting, I know I'm a pain but it literally looked like medical tubing that you sew the carcass closed with. Maybe I saw the pics on another site, but I really thought it was this one. Thanks again all for coming to my aid, appreciate the speedy responses.

I've never seen the ones posted above but I've used the silicone bands on a few cooks when short on butcher's twine and they worked very nicely. In fact I used them this week on a stuffed pork loin. I really suck at tying these up so the bands make up for my lack of skills.
