I am fishing in a 3 day tournament in 2 weeks and usually bring some food for the guys. I'll make a pork butt for sure. What other meats would be good off-shore? We have a microwave and a crock pot for warming. I think ribs would be to messy and a brisky to dry.
What at would you do?

This is one of my favorites to make. So easy and tasty. -
I would take some of that butt or use chick or burger and make some Mexican mix with pinto and black beans spices and diced tom. Tortillas travel well and can be eaton with one hand while tending rods--no plate necessary. Nuke it or crock pot and good with eggs in tortilla for breakfast. Use some pork butt to make nachos in the microwave. I'd do that for sure.

So creative. I knew that I would get some solid ideas here. No doubt I'm doing the chic salad. The nachos/ Mexican mix are great ideas too! I will keep everyone posted! Hopefully, we win the white marlin open!!Chester, MD

+1 to @Jstroke. I'd be taking some burritos out there. I've made some seriously good pseudo chili verde from leftover pork butt if you're going to be doing that anyway!
Good luck with the fishing!
