Whoa, was this one off.
Just got my LBGE about 6 weeks ago, and have been loving it. Had recently picked up a maverick 735 (Bluetooth). Used it this past weekend and the temps on the maverick were way off from the thermometer on the dome.
Did a calibration tonight with a pot of boiling water (along with my brewing gear thermometers). The maverick was a degree low, at 211F. The dome thermometer was reading 235F at boiling.
Glad I checked!
