been really busy last two days. I did manage to egg some burgers and sausage tuesday night and some chicken breasts tonight, but its veggie season around here. I canned 12 quarts of tomato juice yesterday and 12 jars (assorted sizes) of candied jalapeno's today. Gonna make some pepper jelly tomorrow or saturday. After that I'll blanch, cut, and freeze two sacks of sweet corn and should be set until muscadines ripen and it will be jelly time again.

Damn right I did. Learned that the hard way. I bought a whole box from my pharmacy. I use em all the time. But honestly, our garden is just for fun and to pick stuff just to eat it fresh. When I get ready to can stuff, I run down to my buddys farm and spend sbout 40 bucks and get 80lbs of maters and 20lbs of peppers and go with that. Its just too easy and same kind of tomatoes I grow anyway.

I kept several of those giant jalapenos to make ABT's. Those are gonna be good.

Looks awesome brother. The next time that you are passing through, my wife has requested some more of that jalapeño jelly. That stuff was insane.

I wear exam gloves when Im messing with those peppers. I actually scalded my hands a few years back. Looked like a chemical burn.

Looks great. We have a small garden just for fun as well. Nothing like making your own homemade salsa and canning it. Even better to have fresh, homemade salsa in the dead of winter for a super bowl party!
Enjoy!
