Getting ready to get this sucker up to temp to ensure hardware tightens down properly for the inaugural cook on my new Mini Max. Spent some cash on some filets for my grandpas 77th bday before heading from Georgia back to Indiana tomorrow.

Enjoy it! It's a cooking machine. I'm still on the temp control learning curve with mine. Seems to get really hot and like it!

I put a 7# in no problem. It was loose and should have been tied up. I'd say 10 would be pushing it.

Hey @theyolksonyou .. you say the MM likes it hot, do you think a bbq controller like a Bbq Guru could hold the temp @ 225 for a long l&S?I've slow smoked and eaten so much pork, I'm legally recognized as being part swine - Chatsworth Ca.

Cook was fantastic. Love the MM. Don't be fooled...sucker is still heavy. Portable, but heavy. As others have stated, the MM likes it hot and it gets that way in a hurry.
