If you are using them as a drip pan I just started making mine out of tin foil.

Yeah. I pull out like 4 feet fold it in half then roll up the sides until it fits. Takes 20 seconds and costs .50 cents.

I buy steamer pan lids from Sam's.  Too shallow but so flexible you and bend the sides up and make them deeper.

Check on Amazon.  I bought some bulk there; they are a bit deeper than two inches, but work fine for me.

I buy the shallow ones at SAMs for use on the egg and Unit#1.
I buy the deeper ones for Unit #6 & #7 from many sources. Just who ever has them on sale or is the cheapest.

Any good non-disposable reusable drip pans?  I've not seen any.  Would regular baking dishes for the oven work?

i think regular baking dishes would get messed up due to all the smoke and those drippings usually will get cooked on there making clean up pretty tiresome. the disposable one's I just toss in the garbage.

Got a commercial bakery in your area that has an outlet store? I bought a used HD 14" round "cake" pan for $2. It has scratches on the bottom and inside from years of service, but I bet you could drive a tank over it and it would still be standing! I still line it with HD foil to make cheap up a snap!

Yes sir, there is. When this rain stops I will post some pics of my aluminum and stainless steel ones. Be warned though, the SS is not cheap at all.

Yes as long as they are rated for the heat your egging at. Keep in mind that if setting directly on plate setter that it gets much hotter than the Egg itself. I blew apart a baking dish cooking on the stovetop years ago.

@loveTheEgg, you can wrap the dish or pan in foil to protect against gunk and smoke. Works great if you need the structure, but it's still easier to just toss a homemade foil pan. The nice thing about making your own is it's customizable.

I also get these, great buy. They are a little thick, simply on the platesetter they kinda touch the grate at stock height.

I use them for all kinds of stuff. Used one a few weeks back for an automotive drip pan when I was changing my car's water pump.

I do have an aluminum 16 " for larger cooks.
Forvday to day cooks I am fortunate to be able to get them from work for free. We have few frozen items that we bring in and I just wash them and take them home. I must have 60-70. I definitely get them faster then I use them.

Find your local Resturant supply store. I get packs of 20 for about as much as you pay for two in the grocery store.

I use round shallow aluminum serving trays. Fits over the PS, I cover them in foil and reuse. Works awesome. Cost after purchase of 10 at restaurant supply; .30 each. Got them on clearance. So far after 30-40 grills, cost per grill, including aluminum foil, about .06. Some were liberated by MBW, and that drove the cost per use way up.

I usually use a round drip pan, but I do have a 13x9x2 drip pan. It is a cheap pan bought at the local supermarket (about $5). I line it with AL foil for easy clean up. I like it better than disposable because it will support the v-rack. It will also be more economical than disposable pans.

I use a 9x13 metal pan I found in the kitchen SWMBO wasn't using much.  I wrap it in foil.  The bottom got smoky, so now she won't use it for baking, and says keep it for the Egg.  Better to beg for forgiveness than to ask permission.

I am with @mwatts....I get the 30 pack at Costco, for (I think) $7.99 a pkg.  Comes out to .26 a piece.  They work perfectly as a drip pan between the grill  and top of the Plate Setter.  Might be a tick tall to fit in there, but they're aluminum...I just squeeze it in there.

+1 dollar store. SWMBO just grabs 4 or 5 boxes when she goes in there.
