    Wow that is a pretty sweet score!  Does the bracket fit your large egg?  FWIW-I read somewhere the lava stones are prone to cracking due to rapid temp changes, so if you use it let it heat up with the egg (don't throw a cold stone into a hot egg). 


    Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

    Sam's in Denton TX. Thanks for the warning about the stones. The bracket is adjustable, it fits my Bubba Keg. I use the BGE platesetter in there so it should fit the large.

    I can't open the picture on my.phone but while y'all are talking about Sam's, I found a roll of butcher paper there yesterday for 15.32$  It is 1000 by 1.5 feet.

    @navymom - Thanks for the tip!  I picked this up today at a Kansas Sam's Club.  I have a broken leg on my platesetter which is causing me grief, but it appears that the lava stone and bracket system will work in my Large.  Now, what to do with the other pieces that I won't use....
