Going Price for an XL around the SEC

Went to get an XL today and both dealers were back ordered. 
Also had a huge price difference which isn't a shock. Was the same way when I drove two hours to buy my large and small.
Looks like I can get an XL egg only for around $1 grand.
Is is that what yall are seeing or should I call around and drive some? I'm open to travel!

@OmahaOne yes and there are a few this fall near by. I'm just not sure I want to wait that long. Sold my other two eggs to upgrade to XL.
