Egret Appreciation

I don't post often, but felt compelled to do so today.  For some reason, I'm not generally a fan of ham in the summer(i don't know why), but I saw this ham butt yesterday on sale for $6 and couldn't pass it up.  Egret, I follow your recipe exactly but i add a bourbon to the syrup injection…..i like bourbon….a lot.  Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for the awesome recipe!  I've made it numerous times now, and it's always a big hit.
