Broken Plate setter

Hey fellow Eggheads. I recently got my first egg through the festival program. We got my egg at the end of the day and was half way home when I received a call saying we forgot the plate setter. We were too far to come back so I told them I would take my chances with shipping it to me.
Well I rolled the dice on that one and came up snake eyes. I opened the package and it indeed broke fairly cleanly on one of the feet.
My question is: Has anyone had this issue and have you successfully glued the piece back together and what kind of high temperature glue works best?

claim the damage with the shipper.

I know people that have done this, but it doesn't last long and you never really know what's coming off the adhesive in the heat of the egg.

If you can't get it resolved with the shipper, I'd price a new one against a woo from ceramic grill store. Cut the legs off and use it as an indirect piece with the woo/pizza stone.

I broke mine recently, I fixed it with JB Weld. It worked perfect ... 100% perfect. If you go this route, follow directions exactly.

+I on what @SoCalTim said. Broke the leg off mine awhile ago. JB Weld for ceramics fixed her - no problems since.
