About to pass out from a food coma. A delicious, delicious, delicious and completely heart unfriendly food coma.
The wife and I went to World Market earlier and picked up a few things. I discovered Dave's Insanity Hurtin' Habanero Honey Mustard. CRAZY good!! Painted some Bacon Wrapped Beer Brats with it tonight. Smoked those and some Nathan's Beef Franks with some JD Whiskey Barrel Chips. The Brats were served on toasted split top buns and topped with Beer Cheese, homemade Chipotle Chili, Sour Cream and Jalapeños. The wife made homemade Cold Oil Fries. Bestest fries ever.

Okay...I gotta tell you that a lot of people post these "bacon-wrapped-whatever" posts and the bacon never looks cooked. But you nailed it! Somehow you got a perfectly cooked brat surrounded by crisp bacon!
Had to be good.
How spicy is that Dave's sauce? I have tried some of his that have fantastic flavor, but the heat is over the top. (and I like it hot)

LOL. Thx!! The Dave's Hurtin' Habanero Honey Mustard is freaking awesome. Can't believe I've never heard of it before. Not overly spicy at all, but it does have some umph. Can't wait to use it on other stuff.

Love the picture with the brats and franks on the grill. What is the cold fry method?

Hell yes. Mighty fine grub there, kind of reminds me of hot dogs on the streets of Tijuana back in the day.

I so want one of those brats right now. And I think I have a habanero honey mustard hole in my pantry that's waiting to be filled.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

Thx guys! @Hawg Fan , it's the best method imho. Less oil absorption, very easy and crazy good.
