Grease coming out of side of egg?

I have had my Lg bge for over 3 years. Tonight while i was heating up the egg for some pizza's i noticed grease drops seaping out of the sides of my egg. It looks like tiny little pin holes that the grease is coming out of. I cleaned my egg last week. Anyone else have this happen?

Mine has done something similar before. I figured it was smoke and condensation weeping out. I do remember someone else posting about this before. Like you I noticed it when I was heating the egg up for pizza. Maybe the high temp of pizza drys the egg from the inside out.

It just forces the moisture out of the ceramic. Mine looks disgusting.

I just noticed tiny pin holes on my LBGE Thursday when I was egging some meatloaf. I had a similar situation with a little bit of gunk coming out through them. I'd never noticed the pin holes before, wonder how common this is? My egg is 7 years old. Maybe it's a virus going around...
