Just picked up my new baby today. A 65lb "Small" It's sitting next to my "Large" I've had for a little over a year. Picked up the phone and called "Chubby" and ordered "Deluxe Grate Mates" for a christening present. We now have the perfect family!

Smokin' Todd,[p]Dangit I might have to pick me up one O' them. I can lift that bastich and haul it around. The medium is not so conducive to moving.[p]I'll be the small makes INCREDIBLE T-Rex steaks![p]Todd

Jackbythesea,
I dont exactly have a favorite, but I do just about everything on it. Like I said you will love that little gal and here is how versatile she really is:)
First off she keeps your large company...
I do a little high heat grilling, such as with with some pork chops...
Low and slow, such as with stuffed peppers and thighs. Keep in mind that many forum members here have much better indirect set ups then this!
And yes you can even do lower and slower as I did with this 10+ hr brisket flat! That little one is an amazing thang! Enjoy it!

Smokin' Todd,
Thanks much for the info and pictures. As soon as I learn how to post pictures from my MAC I'll put some up on the forum.

Here was the big day for my new small. (notice the fork lift hole in the carton) No worries though, BGE jumped through flaming hoops to make it right and the new small now sets next to my large as well!
Fast and friendly service and no bad feelings.

Rumrunner,
Nope. Some no name hauler in an eighteen wheeler. Had to get my wife to meet him because he couldn't get down my street and I was away on buisness. She waited until I got home for me to open my "prize." She also said " it sure was rattling when he put it in the car." All that was busted was the bottom half and the fire box. Bobby shipped them out right away and it took me 1/2 hour to get the package open is was packed so well!! I love the small! I've cooked about everything on it that will fit.
