Beers tonight boys

I'm having a worse week than the last one in which I deemed beer and BBQ were needed STAT.
This week, my a/c upstairs quit working and we had to spend 3 nights in hell trying to sleep with the temp 85 degrees plus humidity.
My battery went teets up in my Tahoe.
The mower is still on the fritz.

Sounds like another ther night of cooking and drinking on the egg tonight. Too bad I have to work tomorrow and Sunday, I'll have to just have a few.

Same boat.  I decided to do some required maint. on my 2004 Toyota tacoma (timing belt, water pump, plugs wires, belts, hoses)  because I plan on keeping it until I retire.  Well my daughter in college tells me her engine light is on.  She takes it to a shop and they tell her the kenuiting valve is blocked.   Not much I can do long range.  Soooo total care repair bill $850.  Yeah, I'm grilling (whatever is in the freezer) and drinking tonight.

That's too bad.  Just have to think about how lucky you are to have the roof over your head, a yard to mow, and a job to be had. Sometimes hard to see through it.  Most would kill to be in our shoes even if we don't always see it.  I cheers you tonight with a beer for all the good things in life!

I really was going to take the kids to the pool before starting dinner, but if you guys need somebody to drink with I guess I can join in... ;)

Oh I'm happy for good health, a roof over my head and my family...I'm not calling it "devastated". I guess when it rains, it pours. Here's to the freaking sun shining. Cheers.

Nope! Up and running a cool 73. It was awful Wednesday night. Sweating while trying to sleep sucks.

Btw, beer 1 down. I'm late to the party, but I'm happy to be here.

Y'all suck!  I'm on call... covered in grease, ice cream, oil, dirt and still have more calls to run. That part is totally fine. The torrid part is my Pelican cooler is packed to the gills with icy cold craft, ales, hard ciders, etc and I can't touch em. :minus_one:

I'm sorry Husk. I've got to work tomorrow, so it's only a few. I'm dying for some margaritas, coladas and sangria.

Nothing wrong with that. I've had cheese burgers three times this week already.

Took the head off one of my boat engines last night.  Surface planed it, about to put it back on.  Scooter has low compression, need a top engine replacement.  More crap we have, more stuff can go sideways.  Good thing I have lots of BEER!

I wasn't going to be drinking tonight, but it has rained the last three weekends in a row, I just finished mowing, its a beautiful 70 and cumulus sky, my water feature and firepit are fixed, and I'm down one now.  Cheers, folks!   B)

I'm drinking vodka tonic right now. I'll switch to beer soon and should be about ready to join in by that point. I missed the last go round.
