Love it. One of the reasons I bought the Mini Max is to take on road trips to my daughters club soccer tournaments. With this swing rack modification I'll be able to cook for the entire team in between or after games. Thanks for the idea and detail.Steve
XL, Mini Max, and a 22" Blackstone in Cincinnati, Ohio -
Really wanna be able to do anything from a pork shoulder down, especially for the appetizers and quick foods while the XL chugs along from the previous night on a low and slow, or when I run late and wanna sear steaks for dinner, I have a better option than stove top pan sear. And I would love to be able to toss it in the car. I would take it to every picnic I go to and make my own food, lol!

I think you've found your huckleberry @GalanteNate_OneEa. Unless you can find a cheap SBGE and get a Carten (or make something like it yourself). I really like my small but I think the MM is money.L x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....eggAddict from MN!

The MM is heavy! Its not like the mini just pick it up and go. If you want to go very far you need a 2nd person. Its 75 pounds.
-
It's pretty heavy, spec says 65 lbs but it's 75 with the PS and grid. I've been carrying mine by myself until my recent surgery. It's been sitting in the storage shed since then. I really like it though, I've cooked a few times on it, chicken, steaks, and veggies. I just bought the woo and pizza stone for it.

what is the price on the mini-max? I recently found out that my wife thought about getting me one last Christmas. I have a large that I use at least 2 times a week from February-July. I usually cook steak, chops, etc, but we have 2 little ones that live off of chicken nuggets. she is looking for some thing that will be a little faster than the large. If you're feelin' puny and you don't know what to doTreat yourself to some meat eat some barbeque

Heats up quick use it with my large. Some weeks I don't use the large. Then some weeks MM doesn't get used. Love them both. They should between $500-600.

@McStew I second what @NPHuskerFL said about the upgrades. I love that custom handle for sure.Large and Mini BGE
