Thanks all.  I appreciate the approvals!

I will post a pic of the whole deck in a day or so. I had my work station set up behind me and just wanted to get a pic of the kitchen in today.  Once its all cleaned up...

Looks outstanding brother. Are you getting the palm trees as well?

Looks great. Why did you place the eggs so far apart at the beginning of the project? Was one of them an outcast or were your original plans for a really long table?

@SGH thanks! no palm trees haha but maybe a roof!

@stemc33 funny question!  They were sitting next to each other in the crappy deckless back yard... then I took the XL on the road for a 2014 cinco de mayo party.  When I brought it home I knew I was going to be building the deck in the fall so I figured why move it twice... it doesn't roll in the lawn.

Very nice! My deck is absolutely the best part of my property. I have spent a lot of money on things I use at most once a week or worse once a month (boats before I had a boat lift)  And I'll tell you this deck cost less and does more. I spend some time every single day on it.

One of the best additions I did since building it was adding a small simple water feature. We can't even see it on the deck but it adds that small ambient sound of running water to drown out the neighbors.

The cabinets are just storage.  The right cabinet right now has the propane tank in it but I think I will move that under the deck for space.

Water feature sounds cool.  First on our list is a roof or pergola of some sort.  Also hot tub high for me.
