Well I am very proud of and happy for with all of the Egg teams out competing this weekend.[p]We had 3 teams that we sponsor that were competing this weekend and they all did great.[p]The Wimers made their BBQ competition debut this weekend at the Rock as Old Tavern BBQ and took 4th in Chicken and 9th in Ribs and took 15th overall out of 60 tough teams.[p]Big Green Eggs and Ham, Dan Dieterle and company, were taking on group of tough teams down in Jacksonville and took 7th overall with a 8th place finish in Ribs and 5th in Brisket. Amazing job again Dan.[p]Dizzy Pig North and South were united again this weekend at the Rock also. The got 3rd place for Anything Butt for an awesome dish of Pork Tenderloin and Sea Scallops that Mike and Kenny took the lead on. They took 7th in Pork and were 21st out of that tough crowd of 60 teams.[p]All you guys are awesome and should be very proud of yourselves for doing such a great job.

So you are an actual BGE Guy, cool. I was wondering, who should I talk to down there about getting some pamphlets and stuff that I can hand out to people who want to know more about my Eggs at competitions? I'd also like to find out about applying for sponsorship.[p]Thanks,

    Thanks Bobby,
It was great seeing the Wimers (Old Tavern) overcome some rookie fiascos, and stay focussed and on track to end up with an incredible first-time-out finish. Congrats Jim, Ken and Jon! Also to Dan for his showing down in Florida.[p]Just rolled in a couple hours ago. Already took a nap, and now I am ready for bed!

JDOTR,It does crank you up. You could go to L.A. and drop into Niceville Fl. in two weeks or come over to Barnesville Ga. in three. Dan and I both will be there. Hope your whole crowd is doing great and that you have a great year.[p]Another Georgia Egghead,

Everybody is great... Trying to get some work done on our rig for this year and focusing in on Winchester and Huntsville. Are you and Dianne gonna make either of those contests this year? Hope to see you soon...

Bobby-Q,[p]Thanks, Bobby, for all your help particularly in getting the hinges put together. We're looking forward to our next comp, maybe in King's Mountain in mid-April.
