nolaegghead said:I egged tonight to the pixies radio feed on MOG. Had it cranked up in the manbearcave with a door open, probably drowned out any traffic for 3 blocks. Ears bled a little, but a small price to pay.
One of the best Pixie songs ever (you might remember it from Fight Club when the financial district is going through it's worst bear market ever). Here it is. Country style with someone's home video of cats n dogs.

I'm pretty eclectic, but I love country music, 90's adult alternative and Acoustic music. My favorite albums are when Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds get together. But I also enjoy Jason Aldean, Zach Brown, Little Big Town, etc... I was listening to some Dave and Tim last night while egging up some chicken.

Where is my mind is such a classic.
I like to blast Gigantic in the car. It's funny when people start giggling because they know what the song means. -

Nice. Arcade Fire is my favorite band. I saw them at DAR Constitution Hall in DC with the National for the Neon Bible tour. Best concert I've ever seen.

I pretty much stick to rock and metal. I like everything from your standard classic rock fare to Norwegian black metal. I'm currently sitting on my back deck waiting for the egg to come up to pizza temp and listening to my Emperor channel on Slacker.

@cortguitarman I hear you. I have a three and five year old. BTW, why does it seem that Dora is always yelling? and she just won't stop repeating herself!!!

I'm with you @nolaegghead rap+metal/rock is killer when done right. Also there have been a bunch of metal singers teaming up with DJs to do some really cool and different types of music. Dave Patton of Faith No More fame (one of the BEST metal/rock singers ever) teamed up with a DJ named Nathaniel Merriweather (along with another amazingly talented young singer Jennifer Charles) to create an incredible album called Lovage: Music to make love to your old lady by.
Edit: I I would think most folks around here would be ok with a call and respond chorus that includes "you are the griddle" "I am the meat" in it.

I should also state here that I've been a metal singer for the better part of 20 years now, and a world traveler who soaks up all sorts of music along my way. My tastes are eclectic to say the least. That being said this is one of my favorite bands in the world which I crank when egging all of the time. I can't believe they've never caught on in the states. The Cat Empire (from Australia).

I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season. -
Rage was amazing. I saw them on tour with Wu Tang ages ago, it was great! Zach De La Rocha Was also in another very good band before Rage called Inside Out. Not rap-rock but more late 80's hardcore; definitely worth checking out if you are into hardcore at all.
