so I've only smoked 2 8lb butts separately since buying my egg. My neighbor just brought over 2 10lb buts that need to be cooked at the same time for the KY Derby and fight tomorrow. I've got a medium egg. I assume still 225 degrees. Cook time? Any suggestions? I'm still a noobie.

Check out this link below. It was posted yesterday. I am feeling lazy and don't feel like typing it all out again.

The cook time will be a little longer just for the fact that you're dealing with more weight on the butts. Figure about 1.25 - 1.5 hours per pound minimum. At 225 degrees it could be even longer like a 14 -17 hr cook It might be crowded in there without a multilevel grate. My only suggestion would be to bump up the temp to 250 - 275, I seem to be getting better results and it's keeping me closer to the 10 - 12 hour range for cook time. Sounds like you guys will be eating well for sure.Large and Mini BGE
